Pichelmann, Raymond

Raymond Pichelmann, age 77, of rural Bancroft, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital, Marshfield, from MRSA infection.

He was born May 16, 1936 in Portage County, the son of Emil and Clara (Radzinski) Pichelmann. He married Donna Jean Allison on February 5, 1955 in Nekoosa. Raymond was employed for 37 years at Consolidated Papers until his retirement. He also farmed in the Town of Pine Grove. Mr. Pichelmann enjoyed good times with family and friends; he especially enjoyed his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Pichelmann, Bancroft; his children, Kathy Hanley, Schertz, TX; Sherry (Tom) Cunningham, North Freedom; Michael Pichelmann, Stillman Valley, IL; Mary Pichelmann, Stevens Point; Diane (Rick) Sutherland, Nekoosa; son-in-law, Ken Hansen, Wisconsin Rapids, his grandchildren: Daryl (Melissa) Hanley, Raymond (Jane) Hanley, Ciji and Cody Hansen, Allison (Dave) Pipkorn, Angela Cunningham, Tim (Gretchen) Cunningham, Melanie (Steve) Whitlow, Brett and Austin Sutherland; 11 great-grandchildren; further survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Terri Pichelmann and Jeanne Hansen and a son-in-law, Daryl Hanley.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date. The Leiknesss & Stahl Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements, www.plainfieldfuneralhome.com
