Not only did the Waupaca boys’ hockey team have the top player in the Great Northern Conference this season, it also had the coach of the year.

Senior forward Jared Erickson was one of four Comets to receive all-conference honors from the GNC, while coaches named Dave Crisman as the top coach.

Junior forward Austin Erickson made the second team, while sophomore Walker Smith and junior Ben Stone received honorable mention.
