DOT issues travel advisory

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is closely monitoring the weather conditions expected over the next two days in north central Wisconsin.

Beginning Thursday evening, April 3, as much as a quarter inch of ice accumulation is possible for highways north of U.S. 10. Much of the freezing rain is expected to continue into Friday morning. Motorists should allow extra time for travel and be prepared to encounter slippery conditions.

Heavy snow accumulations are predicted north of State Highway 64 on Friday. The snow combined with high winds will reduce visibility and make travel hazardous.
