The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office posted on its Facebook page that there is no loose tiger in Weyauwega.
“We have had several calls asking if there is a loose tiger in the Weyauwega area. There is no loose tiger in Weyauwega. Just for everyone’s peace of mind. THERE IS NO LOOSE TIGER in Waupaca County.”
Animal Haven Zoo also responded to the rumors by posting on its Facebook page: “We have gotten some phone calls asking if one of our tigers is running loose, rest assured that all of our animals are accounted for and lazing around peacefully this evening.”
