Lucille Alma Baehnman, age 97, of Weyauwega, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, April 30, 2014.

She was born on January 17, 1917, in Appleton, daughter of late Charles and Celina (Yelg) Lorenz. On September 18, 1946, she was united in marriage to Gordon Baehnman in Appleton. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1981. Lucille and Gordon owned and operated Baehnman’s Foods, Weyauwega for over 33 years. Lucille was a proud and charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 176 for 57 years. She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega.

She is survived by 2 sons: Jim (Betty) Baehnman, and Steve (Greta) Baehnman, both of Weyauwega; grandchildren: Amy De Santis, Tim (Laura) Baehnman, Andy (Christine) Baehnman, Corey (Tammy) Baehnman, Kristin (Brandon) Leschke, Marc (Stephanie) Baehnman; 16 great-grandchildren and 1 soon to be great-great grandchild. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Carl (Lucille) Lorenz and Earl (June) Lorenz; and a sister Leona (Bill) Heiman.

The Funeral Mass for Lucille will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega with Fr. Amal Roche officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. A visitation for Lucille will be held directly at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
