Waupaca man charged with bail jumping

Dale A. Danielson, 61, Waupaca, was charged with felony bail jumping.

Danielson was charged with a sixth drunken driving offense on Nov. 11, 2013. He was released from custody on a $5,000 signature bond with the condition that he not drive without permission from the state Department of Motor Vehicles.

On April 21, Waupaca County Sheriff’s Deputy Bryan Strobusch observed Danielson driving a vehicle out of the Mobil Truck Stop in Waupaca.

Strobusch notifed Deputy Chad Repinski, who had arrested Danielson in November, and the two officers converged on Danielson’s home on State Highway 54 in the town of Farmington.

Danielson told the deputies that the DMV had advised him that his driver’s license was valid. He had a letter saying his license was reinstated on Jan. 2.

However, state records indicated that Danielson’s license had been suspended again on Feb. 27, after the state crime lab reported his blood-alcohol level at the time of his arrest in November, according to the criminal complaint.
