Roger J Stiebs, age 67, of Corvallis, OR, formerly of Waupaca, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014 in Corvallis.

Roger was born in Waupaca on November 18, 1946, the son of Clarence and Marjorie (Nelson) Stiebs. He graduated from Waupaca High School and attended college at UW-Oshkosh, UW-Madison, Oregon State University and Linn-Benton Community College graduating with a degree in landscaping. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and loved riding motorcycles, listening to music and dancing. He especially loved planting flowers and watching them grow.

Roger is survived by his mother:, Marjorie Stiebs, Waupaca; his brother, Allan Stiebs, Waupaca and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence. Roger was a kind and caring person and enjoyed helping others. He enjoyed life and was a good friend to many.

A Memorial Service will be on Tuesday, May 20 at 1 p.m. at Bethany Home Chapel, Waupaca with Reverend Loren Fritz, officiating. Burial of cremains will be in the Parfreyville Cemetery, Town of Dayton. A memorial visitation will be on Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of services at the chapel. Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
