The Waupaca Rotary Club is requesting nominations for the annual Service Above Self award for a teacher or staff member who has made a difference through their involvement in the community.
This would include service in a community organization, charity, service club or community project that is above and beyond their duties as a teacher.
A $250 cash award is made to the teacher and a $250 donation will be made to a charity or project on behalf of the award recipient.
Nominations can be made by any resident or by an organization in which the nominee is involved.
Nominators should briefly describe how the nominee has demonstrated the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self” and the impact they have had on the organization, time spent, recruitment of other volunteers and fund raising.
