Kelli Joy Chilson – age 40 – Waupaca, WI, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the Appleton Medical Center in Appleton, WI.
She was born on February 7, 1974 in Texas, the daughter of Bobby Joe Thomas and Luann Jane Chilson. Kelli is survived by her fiancé, Shan Corrao of Waupaca; dear friend, Kelly Gunderson of Hatley; children: Juston Todd Alejandro, Jonathan Erik Alejandro, Derrick Matthew Alejandro, Zachary Dawayne Chilson, and Hannah Marie Chilson, all from Texas; her mother, Luann Chilson of Texas; sister, Melissa Jo Maynes of Nevada, and a brother, John Thomas of Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby, and a sister, Luann Jennifer Thomas.
Before she became too ill to work, Kelli had been employed as a waitress and bartender. She loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and camping. She enjoyed doing craftwork, especially making bead bracelets and necklaces. She loved the times she could share with her family, and she was always available to help someone in need.
Per Kelli’s wishes a memorial service will be held at a later date. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
