Shelley Elizabeth Penney, age 78, of Waupaca, WI, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at her residence.
She was born in Waupaca on December 18, 1935, a daughter of the late Alonzo and Helen (O’Neil) Harris. Shelley married John Penney, they later divorced. She had been a service representative at Ameritech until her retirement.
Survivors include her sons: Lance (Kim) Penney, Waupaca, WI; Troy Penney, Waupaca, WI; Boyd (Nicole) Penney, Johnstown, CO; grandchildren: Vaughan Penney, Jordyn Penney and Amber Timm; sister, Edie Dimpfl, Oconomowoc, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers – Claude, Roy, Walt, Frank and Earl Harris, and sisters – Laneigha Ravey, Jeane Beyersdorf and Dolores (Lori) Mantz.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 26th, 2014, with Reverend Eugene Gauerke, officiating. Interment will be held at Parfreyville Cemetery. Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
