Brunner , Mark R.

Mark R. Brunner of Waupaca, age 44, passed away at home on Sunday, July 6, 2014, with his family by his side.

He was born in Wisconsin Rapids on November 22, 1969 to Dennis and Elaine (Frost) Brunner. On September 9, 1995 he married Sharon Pupp. Mark graduated from Pittsville High School in 1988. He then attended Mid State Technical College graduating in 1990. Mark worked at the Waupaca Foundry for over 20 years as an electrical foreman. While he was going to school he worked at Carl’s Landscaping and then at Schalow’s Landscaping in Marshfield. Mark enjoyed fishing, motorcycle riding and deer hunting. He was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.

He will be sadly missed by: his wife, Sharon; children, Miranda and Alex at home; his parents, Dennis and Elaine Brunner of Pittsville; brother, Dan (Carrie) Brunner and their daughter, Emma of Waupaca; mother-in-law, Bernadine Pupp of Edgar; sisters-in-law, Ann (Steve) Willhite and their children, Stephanie and Michael of Wausau; Patti (Kevin) Mueller and their children, Lucas and Shanna of Edgar; Sandy (Joe) Behlen and their children: Emma, Claire and Elizabeth of Vesper; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Marvin Pupp; grandparents, Cecile and Roger Frost.

The Funeral Mass will on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, N2845 Shadow Road, Waupaca with Father Amalraj Roche officiating. The visitation will be on Thursday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
