Dragonwings sponsors Fairy Garden

One of Dragonwings Bookstore’s most popular workshops from last summer is back, but in a new location.

“Not only has Dragonwings moved to a new location, but we are now partnering with Turner’s Fresh Market for our Fairy Garden workshops,” said Ellen Davis, owner of Dragonwings. “It’s the perfect place for projects that involve tools, dirt, rocks and flowers. We are scheduling our upcoming garden and nature-related workshops at Turner’s.”

At the Fairy Garden workshop participants will plant a miniature garden with succulents and mosses, build a little house with bark, and add decorative details with shells, pinecones, lichens and stones.

Each participant will receive five fairy succulents, a 10-inch planter, and all of the materials for the house and garden.
The workshop is designed for ages 5 to adult, with a limit of two participants per garden.

Workshops are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, July 18, or 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 30. The fee per garden is $25.

To register, call Dragonwings Bookstore at 715-256-9186 or sign up at their new location in The Bookcellar at 110 S. Main St. Waupaca. Find more information on Dragonwings’ Facebook page.
