Lionel P. Young, age 83 of New London, died July 13, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton, following a brief illness.
Lionel was born on March 18, 1931, the son of Peter and Mildred (Bricco) Young in the Township of Maple Creek, where he resided. He was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London. Lionel is survived by his brother, Nordell (Arlene) Young, Appleton; sisters, Gladys Zietkowski, Palmer, MA and Edna (Joe) Janowski, Manitowoc, WI; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London. Family and friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Bear Creek. Cline-Hanson Funeral Home, New London, is assisting the family with arrangements.
