Woman charged with fourth drunken driving

Brittany S. Marg, 23, Waupaca, was charged with a fourth drunken driving offense and operating after revocation.

Shortly before 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, Deputy Chad Repinski was northbound on County Road QQ when he clocked a vehicle traveling 49 mph in a 35 mph zone.

According to the criminal complaint, the driver, identified as Marg, had a revoked driver’s license and failed the field sobriety tests.

A preliminary breath test indicated she had a 0.225 blood-alcohol level.

Marg was previously arrested for drunken driving on Sept. 19, 2010; April 2, 2013; and April 3, 2013.

On July 24, 2013, Marg’s license was revoked for 33 months and for 17 months for the two April offenses. The Department of Transportation subsequently revoked her license indefinitely when she failed to comply with the court-ordered driver safety plan.
