Hortonville School Board seeks candidates

The Hortonville Area School District is accepting applications for a vacant school board seat in the Village of Hortonville.

Candidates are being sought to fill the vacancy left by board member Sebastian Pugliese III, who stepped down when he was hired to teach math at Hortonville High School for the 2014-15 school year.

The term runs until April 2015.

Candidates must reside in the Village of Hortonville, be 18 years old or older and a qualified elector in the Hortonville Area School District.

Interested candidates can send a letter of interest to Dr. Heidi A. Schmidt, District Administrator, at 246 N. Olk Street, PO Box 70, Hortonville WI 54944, or email [email protected].

Letters of interest should include your background and reasons for interest. Letters must be received by Oct. 8.

The board of education will review candidates at its Oct. 13 meeting. For more information, contact the District Office at 779-7921.
