Holdyn Mast opened up the scoring for the T-birds early in the 1st quarter and Tanner Krusa kicked the extra point giving Iola-Scandinavia a 7-0 lead.
In the 2nd quarter, Kristian Welch continued the scoring drive with a 78 yard run into the end zone. Krusa once again put up the extra point leaving the T-birds ahead 14-0.
Manawa answered on 4th and 7 when Brandon Radloff passed the ball to Matt Radloff for a touchdown. The extra point attempt failed.
Mast was able to pass to Welch and later connected with Adam Cherek for touchdowns, ending the 1st half of the game with the T-birds leading 27-6.
Neither team was able to score in the 3rd quarter.
Cam Gruenwald scored early in the 4th quarter on a 15 yard run. Krusa once again kicked the extra point putting the T-birds ahead 34-6.
Evan Fuhs later blocked a punt attempt putting the T-birds on the 8 yard line. Mast ran the ball in for a touchdown for the final score of the game.
