• Oct. 31 – A man was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 5 p.m. in the town of Waupaca.

Jack Emnott, 51, of Neenah, was driving northbound on County Road E near Casey Lake Lane when his truck traveled into the southbound lane.

The vehicle traveled onto the gravel shoulder on the west side of the road. Emnott reportedly over-corrected and the truck traveled back into the northbound lane.

According to the police report, the driver lost control of the vehicle and it entered the east ditch, rotated and crashed into a utility pole. The vehicle then rotated and came to rest in a group of trees.
