ThedaCare debuts new brand identity

ThedaCare announced it will introduce its new system-wide brand identity this week in New London.

The branding further aligns the hospital and clinic with other ThedaCare facilities, helping patients better understand who ThedaCare is.

Last year, ThedaCare™, announced the name change of New London Family Medical Center to ThedaCare Medical Center-New London.

“Launching the new brand identity here demonstrates how the New London hospital and clinic integrate into the ThedaCare system’s role as a community healthcare leader,” said Bill Schmidt, president and CEO of ThedaCare Medical Center-New London. “This reinforces that this hospital and clinic are part of a vast network of regional ThedaCare resources and expertise, including being Wisconsin’s first member in the Mayo Clinic Care Network.”

Rollout of the new brand identity began Tuesday in New London when the outside signs began to change. They will include an updated logo that features the “ThedaCare” name in bold black lettering beneath four colorful, interlocking hearts. The heart has been part of ThedaCare’s visual identity for many years; the updated mark continues to provide easy recognition while underscoring the importance of care, love and connection, and the shape also ties in with ThedaStar’s four blades in rotation. Following the exterior sign installation, branding will flow into the rest of the hospital and clinic.

“Our industry is ever-changing, but we have always remained focused on making the healthcare experience the very best,” said Cheryl Seelig, practice administrator at ThedaCare Physicians-New London. “Our doctors and staff will continue to try to provide the community with the right services at the right times with highly competent providers and specialty partners.”

The remaining ThedaCare facilities will begin rolling out the new brand identity in the spring of 2015, culminating with the completion of the new ThedaCare Medical Center-Shawano in fall 2015.
