Ardis C. Kurth, age 86, of Weyauwega, went to her heavenly home on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Appleton Medical Center.
She was born on September 29, 1928 in New London, daughter of the late Francis and Harriet (Baerwald) Schwartz. Ardis married Wallace Kurth and he preceded her in death. She graduated from New London High School. She worked as a CNA at Wisconsin Veteran’s Home in King for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Bruesewitz, Texas; Marie (Gary) Button, Weyauwega; grandchildren: Howie Abhold, Harriet (Craig) Robbins, Charles King, Christopher (Kate) Abhold, Lee Michael Newsome, Betty Deebs, Joseph and Timothy Bruesewitz, also many great-grandchildren. She is further survived by a brother-in-law Charles Kurth, her good friend Peggy Wall, a special nephew Wayne Faulks, other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Wally, and grandson, DJ Bruesewitz.
A memorial service for Ardis will be held on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega with Rev. Dennis Lemke and Rev. Newlin Schafer officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. A gathering of family and friends will take place at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. The Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega is serving the family.
