The Bulldog basketball team fell short down the stretch in a non-conference loss against Freedom on Tuesday, Dec. 23.
The Bulldogs trailed by two points after the first quarter.
New London fought back to regain the lead 27-25 at halftime.
The Irish applied full court pressure on the Bulldogs for much of the second half, forcing 10 turnovers.
Freedom outscored New London 13-5 in the fourth quarter to seal their 40-30 victory.
Leading scorers for New London were Maddie Schroeder 7, Macy Madsen 4, and Payton Mix 18.
The Bulldogs will host Hortonville on Saturday, Jan. 3
