Waupaca County criminal sentencing Jan. 15

• Judge Raymond Huber sentenced Asa T. Brown, 20, Eden, to seven years in state prison and 13 years of extended supervision.

He also ordered Brown to register as a sex offender and have no contact with any minor without prior approval from his Corrections agent.

Brown was convicted of first-degree sexual assault of a 3-year-old girl.

• Huber sentenced Thaddeus M. Blank, 37, Marion, to three years in state prison and two years of extended supervision and assessed him $1,203 in court costs.

Blank was convicted of drug trafficking. Charges of possession of narcotics and possession of cocaine were dismissed but read into the court record for sentencing purposes.

• Judge Philip Kirk placed Brittany Marg, 23, Waupaca, on three years probation, imposed 240 days in county jail, then stayed 60 days, revoked her driver’s license for 36 months, assessed her $4,601 in fines and court costs, ordered her to install an ignition interlock device on her vehicle and prohibited her from going into bars or liquor stores.

Marg was convicted of a fourth drunken driving offense and felony bail jumping. A charge of operating while revoked was dismissed but read into the record.

• Huber placed Colt J. Flynn, 20, Manawa, on two years of probation and assessed him $543 in court costs.

Flynn was convicted of misdemeanor battery as an act of domestic abuse. Charges of felony strangulation and disorderly conduct were dismissed and read into the record.

• Huber placed Scott P. Dervin, 38, Marion, on three years of probation and ordered him to spend 90 days in county jail.

Dervin was convicted of felony theft. Charges of burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed and read into the record.

• Huber sentenced William J. Sanders, 32, Dodge Correctional Institute, to 30 more months in prison and 30 months of extended supervision.

Sanders was convicted of a fifth drunken driving offense. Charges of fleeing an officer and operating while revoked were dismissed and read into the record.

The judge also ordered Sanders to pay $1,811 in fines and court costs and revoked his driver’s license for 36 months.

Sanders is currently serving a two-year prison sentence for substantial battery and felony bail jumping after his probation was revoked.

• Huber sentenced Raymond S. Neeser, 34, New London, to five years in state prison and three years of extended supervision.

Neeser was convicted of drug trafficking, distributing heroin and burglary. Fourteen drug-related charges, two counts of felon in possession of a firearm, felony bail jumping and felony theft were dismissed and read into the record.

Huber also ordered Neeser to pay $3,095 in restitution that includes the burglary, money police used to purchase drugs from him and court costs.

• Huber placed Adam M. Durrant, 25, Plainfield, on one year of probation and assessed him $43 in court costs.

Durrant was convicted of obstructing an officer. Charges of misappropriation of ID and disorderly conduct were dismissed but read into the record.

• Huber placed John R. Kregenow, 62, Waupaca, on two years of probation and ordered that he participate in any mental health assessments recommended by his Corrections agent.

Kregenow was convicted of misdemeanor bail jumping and disorderly conduct, which was amended from a felony stalking charge.

Kregenow also entered into a deferred prosecution agreement on a felony bail jumping charge.

A charge of operating a firearm while intoxicated was dismissed and read into the record.

• Kirk sentenced Chad R. Schweitzer, 22, New London, to six months in jail and assessed him $443 in court costs.

Schweitzer was convicted of misdemeanor battery, amended from a felony charge of substantial battery.

• Huber imposed then stayed 90 days in jail after Elias R. Meyer, 22, New London, was convicted of two counts of misdemeanor theft. One count of felony theft was dismissed but read into the record.

Huber also ordered Meyer to pay $8,262 in restitution and court costs, perform 50 hours of community service and write a letter of apology to the victim.

• Huber placed Keith R. Mundt, 30, Waupaca, on one year probation and assessed him $293 in court costs.

Mundt was convicted of possession of amphetamine. A felony narcotics charge was dismissed and read into the record.

• Huber sentenced Jeffrey S. Borstad, 30, formerly of Waupaca, to 1 1/2 years in prison and two years of extended supervision.

Borstad was convicted of felony possession of narcotics and felony possession of amphetamines.

Charges of felony possession of marijuana, felony bail jumping and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance were dismissed and read into the record.

Borstad is currently serving a one-year prison sentence due to a narcotics conviction in Wood County.

• Kirk assessed Adam M. Knueppel, 34, Burlington, $1,253 in fines and court costs.

Knueppel was convicted of felony possession of marijuana and operating while revoked. A misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed but read into the record.

• Huber assessed Ulysses E. Blue, 40, Waupaca, $748 in fines and court costs.

Blue was convicted of felony possession of marijuana. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed and read into the record, while two counts of felon in possession of a firearm were dismissed by the prosecutor.

• Huber sentenced Todd B. Dybedahl, 51, Frankville, to 10 days in jail with two days credit and assessed him $443 in court costs.

Dybedahl was convicted of failure to report to jail.

In February 2014, Dybdahl was sentenced to 60 days in jail with work release, but failed to report to the jail. A warrant for his arrest was issued on May 12 and he was arrested on May 27.
