The Manawa Chamber of Commerce will present “Ladies Night Out; Shop, Sip, Socialize” from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, at the Manawa Masonic Center.

Attendees will experience over 30 vendors offering services and merchandise from health to fashion for women of all ages. Throughout the evening, two “Learn How Now” tables will offer eight different hands-on learning opportunities with a Pinterest flavor.

The event will include music, 50/50 raffles, bucket raffles/auctions, food, beverages, and more.

“Ladies, you are ready for a fun night,” said Brenda Vander Zanden, promotions & events manager for the chamber. “Plan your attack, schedule childcare, round up your friends and purchase a ticket.”

Admission is $20, plus a non-perishable food donation for the Manawa Area Community Food Pantry.

Tickets are available at Eastling Insurance in Manawa and Butch’s Piggly Wiggly in New London, and or online at the fair-trade ticketing company, Brown Paper Tickets at (www.brownpapertickets.com/event/865205). Tickets are non-refundable, but are transferrable.

The emcee for the evening is comic, speaker, performer and author Liysa Callsen.

Callsen studied at the famed Second City Improv School in Chicago. She is a daughter, wife and mother who puts on her Spanks® one leg at a time.
