St. Martin celebrates Lutheran Schools Week

The last week of January, students and teachers at St. Martin Lutheran School in Clintonville celebrated National Lutheran Schools Week with many other Lutheran schools across the world.

The theme for the week was “Stand in Mercy” based on Ephesians 2:4-5. “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ — by grace you have been saved.”

The students did many activities to celebrate the love of Jesus with others at school and in the community. Every day the students dressed up according to the theme and had various activities to participate in such as relay races, a talent show, swimming, and singing at Green Tree and Aster. The students also participated in Jump Rope for Heart and exceeded last year’s earnings.

The annual St. Martin Lutheran School Fun Fair will be held on Saturday, March 14 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
