Moser , Charles ?Chuck? Jr.

Charles “Chuck” Moser Jr. of Waupaca, age 86, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Appleton Medical Center. 

He was born in Milwaukee on January 23, 1929 to the late Charles and Clara (Kupczak) Moser Sr. On August 28, 1948 he married Maryhelen Schneider; she preceded him in death on August 15, 2008. Chuck worked at Allis Chalmers in West Allis for 30 years. He was a quiet and faithful shaper and mover who did so much without ever needing recognition. He supported worker rights and was a Union Supporter and member of AFL CIO, local 240. Chuck was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca, a Lions Club member and Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. In retirement Chuck drove the “Chuckles” bus for Ding’s Dock and he rang bell for the Salvation Army Red Kettle. 

He will be sadly missed by his children: Susan (Tom) Mountin of Wauwautosa, Sandra (Rick) Aumann of Mayville, David (fiancée, Debbie Kaercher) Moser of Newburg, Kris (Joe) Sroka of Weyauwega; sister, Vivian (Thomas) Ryan; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his son, James. 

The Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, N28456 Shadow Road, Waupaca, with Father Amalraj Roche officiating. The visitation will be on Saturday at church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. The Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. The family would like to thank the staff of Park Vista for all their care.
