Waupaca County Coroner Barry Tomaras has ruled the death of Craig Paul Dake a homicide.
Authorities found the 43-year-old Dake dead in his apartment at 397 Jefferson St., Fremont.
Police had been called out to the apartment at 2:45 a.m. Friday, March 6, in response to a domestic-related stabbing.
The Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting an autopsy Saturday.
A 43-year-old Fremont woman remains in custody for questioning at the Waupaca County jail, according to Fremont Police Chief Gene Goode.
The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, Fremont Police Department and the Waupaca County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate this incident.
