New London High School will host its Career Academy Night, Monday, March 23.
The Technology Education wing will be open to business guests from 4 to 7:30 p.m.
Project Lead the Way demonstrations will take place in the Technology Education wing from 5 to 7:30 p.m. There will be engineering, woods, metals and photo/graphics presentations.
There will be music performances by solo/ensemble participants from 5 to 7 p.m.
School of Enterprise Marketing (SEM) projects will be on display on the second floor in room B225/226.
The Freshman Academy projects will be on display in the Freshman Pod on the second floor from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Also on display at that time will be Project Lead The Way (PLTW) projects in the Commons. The art room will be open during this time, with projects displayed outside the main office. The Next Generation Academy will also be open with projects on display.
Sophomore interviews and slide show in Science Technology Engineering Agriculture Math and Manufacturing (STEAM) will take place in Pod classrooms. A STEAM advisory board meeting is scheduled from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in room F102 in the Technology Education wing.
A Future Freshman meeting is scheduled in the auditorium from 6 to 6:45 p.m.
“Rock the Mic” is back for the fourth year as a SEM project. It gives students a unique opportunity to showcase their musical talents. “Rock the Mic” takes place from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Concessions will be offered from 4 to 7 p.m. in the commons area. Technology Students of America (TSA) will be selling hot beef sandwiches, chips and soda. Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) will be selling yogurt and fruit bar items. Percy’s Pro Shop will have Bulldog gear and accessories for sale.
