?Right to Work’ laws give employees choices

Many years ago, I got a job where they had a union.

I was given the choice to join the union and pay dues, or not join the union and pay dues anyway, so I joined the union.

Over the years, I worked at three places with unions.

Over time, I came to think we were not getting much for all those dues.

I saw a big chunk of my money went to some city and found its way into the pockets of some high paid union officials.

Another very large part of my money went to try to elect Democrats. Year after year.

As I became more conservative, I resented having my money confiscated to fund the campaigns of Democrats.

“Right to Work” laws give employees another choice.

They can join the union if they want to, or they can keep the money they earn and spend it on their family.

When it comes to unions, I’m pro-choice.
