Noreen Frances Arabshian, age 86, of Waupaca, WI passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Elder Care in Waupaca.
Noreen was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 9, 1928, the daughter of the late Oscar and Mary (Brannen) Menard. On September 4, 1954, she married John “Hunter” Arabshian in Chicago and he preceded her in death on March 4, 2002. She graduated from Providence-St. Mel’s and formerly of Chicago’s Riis Park area. Her passions were gardening and crafting for her grandchildren, the Chicago Bears and Cubs and of course the more than occasional trip to the casino. Noreen is survived by her children: Noreen Arabshian, Boulder, CO; Michael Arabshian, Chicago; Judy Barreto, River Grove, IL; Patty (Kevin Arient) Borges, River Grove, IL and John Arabshian, Waupaca. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, March 18 at 11 a.m. at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. Burial will follow in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King, WI. Visitation will be on Tuesday evening from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Holly Funeral Home. Family and friends will always hold dear the memories of time spent on the farm.
