Naylor, Lois Helen

Lois Helen Naylor of Waupaca, age 94, left this world on March 27th, 2015, and moved into the loving arms of her Savior.

Lois was born March 17, 1921 in Cicero, Wisconsin, daughter of Louis and Ruth (Schulz) Rusch. She married Joseph Naylor on October 31, 1939 in Waupaca. Lois was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and confidant to many throughout her life. Lois was an active member of the Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Waupaca and a previous member of St. John Lutheran Church in Jefferson, Wisconsin. Lois had the kindest soul, never complaining and always offering encouraging words and a tender heart to everyone – truly a role model for us all. Her faith was evident to all who knew her. Lois was a member of Immanuel’s Ladies Aid, Ladies Evening Mission Society, and was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post at King. Lois enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially if it involved a game of cribbage or sheepshead – (playing with a little passion at times).

Lois is survived by three children: David (Kathy) Naylor of West Bend, Corrine Radloff of King, and Daniel (Mary) Naylor of Town of Farmington; three granddaughters: Renee (Don) Campbell, Lisa (Tom) Staehler, and Laura (Garrett) Colbert; two grandsons: Joseph (Tasha) Naylor and Andrew (Anne) Naylor; six great-grandchildren: Dustin, Morgan, Mallory, James, Lily, and Kiersten; three sisters/sisters-in-law: Ruth Ann Miller, Elaine Krause, and Marion Breier; and many nieces and nephews. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; infant daughter, Bonnie; her parents, Louis and Ruth Rusch; one brother, James Rusch; and one son-in-law, Wayne Radloff.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at 11:30am at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Waupaca with Pastor Paul Bowe officiating. Friends may call from 9:30am to 11:30am at Immanuel Lutheran Church prior to the service. A luncheon will follow the service at Immanuel. Burial will be at the Barton Cemetery, Town of Farmington, following the luncheon. A memorial has been established in the name of Lois H. Naylor. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. Lois’s family wishes to extend their heart felt appreciation to Pastor Bowe and the members of Immanuel Lutheran Church, the caring and compassionate staff of Crystal River Nursing Home and Heartland Hospice along with the many friends and extended family members who continued to share their love and support. When my work on earth is done, And life’s victories have been won, He will take me home above, Then I’ll understand His love.
