CHS students compete in Academic Bowl

Clintonville High School was one of seven schools competing at the 2015 High School Academic Bowl in Winneconne on March 24.

Clintonville High School was represented by 20 students.

The competition included the areas of math, social studies, science, language arts and current events. Students competed in two phases.

The first phase was a written exam and the second phase was an oral competition in which each academic area team works together to answer challenging questions. The oral phase is much like watching a sporting event with much cheering and excitement in the air.

High School Academic Bowl provides students the opportunity to compete with others with similar ability. Students learn to persevere and appreciate the talents and skills of other contestants.
