Loehrke dedicated to doing right thing

I am writing as a parent, taxpayer and business owner in support of Neal Loehrke for the Weyauwega-Fremont School Board.

I feel that for the last six years, Neal has dedicated himself to the best interest of our students.

When Neal was first elected to the school board, he stood up and said no more to the outrageous legal fees our district faced each month. Neal’s determination to seek a change of legal counsel resulted in saving tens of thousands of dollars for our district which is now available for our students. This reflected a great example of putting our students first.

Neal’s dedication to doing the right thing for students and taxpayers alike is continuous, even if that means not agreeing to a “Yes” vote for every item presented to the board.

His current voting record reflects the theory that students and taxpayers come first.

Neal’s life-long local business serves as an excellent background for sound decision making.

As a parent himself, with four children currently in our district, he holds a strong commitment to our students and school system in general. I believe that all school boards need members who comprehend that they are working for the school district, as well as the taxpayers of the district they represent.

School board members must also understand that they will and should be held accountable by the taxpayers in the decisions that they make during their time in office.

I feel Neal holds these qualities close at hand when representing our community.

I believe that Neal takes all of the facets of the school district board member position to the fullest, therefore listening and understanding all concerns presented, in return making decisions based on the facts at hand.

I am encouraging all voters in the Weyauwega-Fremont School District to vote on April 7 in support of Neal Loehrke.
