Elmer F. Conrath, age 97, of New London, went to his heavenly home on Monday, April 6, 2015.
He was born on April 4, 1918 in the Town of Lebanon, son of the late Louis and Bertha (Jahnks) Conrath. Elmer farmed in the Town of Maple Creek all of his life. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London. He is survived by his brother, Lawrence Conrath, New London; also cousins, other relatives and special friends, Fred (Cindy) Glasenapp. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold and his special friend, Vivian Bricco.
The Christian Funeral for Elmer will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London with Rev. William Heiges officiating. Burial will be in Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery. A visitation for Elmer will be held directly at the church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
