The Iron Grille, located at Glacier Woods Golf Course, 604 Water St., Iola, is open and ready to serve customers.
“When we heard about the opportunity to have a restaurant here, we jumped at the chance,” said Nick Cottrill, who will manage the facility. “Glacier Woods is the nicest golf course in the area. It needed a great restaurant to go along with that.”
Cottrill, along with owner Steve Cieslewicz, bring years of experience from Whitetail Lanes in Amherst Junction, along with them.
“Both Steve and I know a lot of people from the area,” he said. “That, paired with having good food, good product and good staff, we should do well here. It will be beneficial for both us and the community.”
According to Cottrill, they have plans to serve the community for years to come.
“Iola has been very welcoming,” he said. “Everyone is excited to have us open up.”
The Iron Grille will be open daily, serving food from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., with the full service bar opening at 9 a.m.
Specialty items with include such things as Italian Stuffed Mushroom appetizers, Steak Stacker Sandwich and Hot Bacon Spinach Salad.
In addition to regular entrees, specials will be served Thursday through Sunday.
The Iron Grille will be open through the end of October.
