Peter J. Loughrin, age 49, Readfield, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015.
He was born in New London on July 6, 1965, son of Michael and Barbara (Fischer) Loughrin. He was a 1983 graduate from New London High School. Pete was an avid Brewers, Packers, and Badger fan. The only things he loved more than sports were his kids and grandkids. He worked at Trega Foods in Weyauwega for 25 years and was currently working at the Buss Stop in Fremont. He would do anything for anybody and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Pete is survived by his children, Amanda (Dennis) Wilkum, New London and Nathan (Alishia) Krueger, New London; grandchildren: Savannah, Kaiden, Payton, Alyvia, Hailie and Preston; mother, Barbara; four sisters: Peg (Paul) Freiburger, Fond du Lac; Patty (Jim) DeGoey, New London; Debbie (Pete) Soto, New London; Lori (Todd) Barrington, New London; five brothers: Michael Jr. “Pup” (Carolyn) Loughrin, New London; Terry (Deb) Loughrin, Bluegrass, Iowa; Jerry (Cindy) Loughrin, Manawa; Dave (Corinna) Loughrin, New London; and Matt (Sue) Loughrin, Manawa. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, specials friends from “The Buss Stop” family and many other friends.
Funeral services for Pete will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-4 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the St Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Lebanon.
