Ryan S. Grant, 30, is charged with capturing nude images without consent and disorderly conduct.

Shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday, May 24, Fremont Police Officer J. Malueg was dispatched to Channel Cats Bar and Restaurant for a suspicious person complaint.

When Malueg arrived at the scene, a tavern employee walked him over to the men’s room, where three men were blocking the door so that the man inside, identified as Grant, could not leave. One of the men told Malueg that Grant used his cellphone to take photos of him while he had been using the urinal.

A witness said, “When I walked in, there was this dude laying underneath both stalls on the floor aiming his phone up towards Chris. As soon as I saw him, he immediately started crawling back into the second stall.”

According to the criminal complaint, Grant said he took the photos because he was curious. He admitted to similar behavior at the Bridge Bar earlier that evening.
