Waupaca woman charged with fifth OWI
Debra J. Bechard, 59, Waupaca, is charged with a fifth drunken driving offense.

At 7 p.m. Thursday, May 21, Waupaca County Sheriff’s Deputy Chad Repinski clocked a vehicle traveling 52 mph in a 35 mph speed zone on County Trunk QQ near Pryse Drive in the town of Farmington.
Repinski made a traffic stop and suspected the driver, identified as Bechard, was intoxicated.
According to the criminal complaint, Bechard was able to recite the alphabet from A to Z, but told Repinski she could not recite it from C to V.
A preliminary breath test indicated Bechard had a 0.18 blood-alcohol level.
