Willard M. Bales, age 82, of Fremont died on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at his home.
He was born on July 25, 1932, the son of the late Leonard and Francis (Case) Bales. On November 17, 1978, Willard married Pamela Carroll. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, restoring cars, cheering for the Chicago Bears, building houses, playing his harmonica and spending time with his beloved Rocky.
Willard is survived by his wife, Pamela; eight children: Audrey (Jerry) Meyer, Donald Bales, Caryn (Tom) Patnaude, Diane (Larry) Hall, Tom Bales, Kathleen (Jim) Nehring, Jennifer (Dan) Nehring, and Lenny (Britney) Bales; 17 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial prayer service will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 105 N. Lincoln St., Weyauwega. Father Amal will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. The Lewin Funeral Home, Fremont, is assisting the family with arrangements.
