Allan A. Gorski, age 77, of Waupaca, WI, passed away on Wednesday, July 15th, 2015 at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, WI.
He was born in Milwaukee, WI on July 1, 1938, a son of the late Alex and Mary (Grohall) Gorski. Allan married Valerie Jean Marie French on June 10, 1961 in Milwaukee. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1961 until 1966, attaining the rank of Captain. Allan had been a member of the Jaycees, Kiwanis, VFW and the Marine Corps League. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cards.
Survivors include his Wife: Valerie Gorski, Waupaca, WI; Children: Arthur (Sharon) Gorski, Richmond, VA; Jeanne (Jim) Brummitt, Longview, WA; Alan (Jacqueline Poteet) Gorski, Brighton, TN; Jennifer (Matthew Dorsey) Gorski, Marina Del Rey, CA; Grandchildren: Benjamin, Matthew & Nicholas Gorski; Andrew & Racheal Brummitt; Cambrea & Carson Poteet and a Sister: MaryAnn Gorski, Milwaukee, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Thomas Gorski.
Memorial Services were held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, at 2 PM on Tuesday, July 21st, 2015, with Pastor Jeffrey S. Fletcher, officiating. Memorial Visitation was held on Tuesday, from 12:00 (Noon) until the time of the service at the funeral home.
