Prosecutors have filed two more felony cases against Derrick J. Pagel, 25, Waupaca.

Pagel is charged with two counts of delivery of heroin. He faces up to 12 years in prison if convicted.

On May 7, Special Agents Ryan Dobbs and Steve Lewis, with the state Division of Criminal Investigation, and Sgt. Kevi Studzinski, with the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, met with a confidential informant (CI) and gave him $180 to buy 0.5 grams of heroin from Pagel.

The CI was dropped off near Pagel’s apartment on the 100 block of West Fulton Street in downtown Waupaca.

According to the criminal complaint, Pagel sold heroin to the CI and said he would be going out of town to get more.

On May 11, Pagel allegedly sold 10 bindles of heroin, weighing a total of 0.87 grams, to the CI for $250.

The Waupaca County Post reported earlier that Pagel was the driver of a car that Weyauwega Police stopped on May 14, which resulted in three people being charged with possession of heroin.
