Knights help Scouts buy new tents

The Knights of Columbus Council 3432 presented Boy Scout Troop 643 a check for $1,200.

The money will support troop activities and help purchase new tents for the troop’s annual weeklong summer camp at Bear Paw Scout Camp in Mountain, Wisconsin.

The Knights of Columbus are the Boy Scouts of America chartered organization supporting Troop 643. Phil Muenster is their representative who is a member of the troop committee.

The troop has grown to 12 boys and will continue to grow due to interest in Scouting and the active schedule and fun events the troop participates in throughout the scouting year.

The troop meets at 6:30 p.m. Mondays at Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.

Boys interested in joining the troop may contact Scoutmaster Rob Karski at 920-244-7409, Assistant Scoutmaster Steve Frings at 715-258-5638, or Committee Chair Vance Linden at 715-258-2927.
