Reader disapproves of nuclear negotiations
What a connived plan this administration had regarding the nuclear negotiations with Iran.
Step 1 – Negotiate a treaty with Iran. Tell Congress and the American people nothing about the content while doing so.
Step 2 – After a treaty agreement, get the UN to approve it.
Step 3 – Now give it to Congress to approve but warn them that the treaty affects other countries as well and it would be unfair or wrong to change anything.
Step 4 – If Congress doesn’t just stamp it as is, blame them for any changes, adverse world opinion, delays, discord, etc. Since it is a Republican Congress, the GOP will take the heat.
What a scheme to try to circumvent involvement by Congress.
