‘Let’s Fill the Bus’ in Clintonville

School supplies collected for those in need

The “Let’s Fill the Bus” campaign to collect school and academic supplies for students in need is moving to its distribution stage.

The school supplies are for children in public school, charter school, alternate school, and parochial school.

Supplies were collected from July 15 to Aug. 12, with distribution set to take place from Aug. 16 through 30. Drop off locations included Clintonville Chamber of Commerce, BMO Harris Bank, Shopko, A to Z Signs, Econofoods, Fox Communities Credit Union, and First National Bank.

Supplies collected, included: pencils, colored pencils, crayons, art boxes, flash cards, Sharpies, highlighters, alphabet magnets, folders with pockets, looseleaf paper, erasers, note cards, stickers, rulers, scissors, pens, glue, construction paper, easels, whiteboards, notebooks, spiral notebooks, reading books, charts, and maps.

The campaign is sponsored by Lamers Bus Lines and Calvary Apostolic Churches New Life Hispanic and Bus Ministries.
