Picnic, annual meeting planned at depot

The Waupaca Historical Society will hold its annual Membership Meeting and Picnic Thursday, Sept. 10, at the Waupaca Railroad Depot.

The society is seeking new members and invites any residents of the Waupaca area who have an interest in local history to attend the picnic.

The picnic will begin at 5 p.m.

Hamburgers, brats, beverages, plates and utensils will be provided. Members and guests should bring a dish to pass.

A short informational meeting, with updates about the society’s current projects and programs, will follow the picnic.

The Waupaca Railroad Depot is located on Oak Street, on the northeast side of Waupaca.
