Fredrick, Raymond Walter

Raymond Walter Fredrick passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 3, 2015 with his loving family by his side at AMC.

Raymond was born on August 19, 1947 in Brookfield, WI to the late Clarence and Lillian Fredrick. He graduated from Brookfield High School, class of 1965. After high school, he joined the Air Force and served for four years. While in the Air Force, he met the absolute love of his life, Margaret Lopez. They married in Big Springs, TX on September 3, 1968. They enjoyed 47 wonderful years together. Raymond worked in the pattern shop at the Waupaca Foundry for twenty-one years, until retiring to spend time with his family. Raymond had a love for all things nature, from hiking, hunting, fishing, swimming, gardening and running around with the kids. He was also a talented wood carver and craftsman. He spent many hours out in his shop, tinkering, building, and inventing many different things. He was a hardworking, loving family man who will be missed by many.

Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Fredrick; daughters, Laura (Mike) Otterson, Tammy (Eric) Frederick; granddaughters, Alisha (Justin) Christensen, Erica (Gregory) Ingram, Desiree (Trevor) Borchert; great-grandchildren, Kaelynn Ray and Rowan Wayne; sisters: LaVerne (Don) Sprague, Houston, TX; Linda (Pete) McCaurthey, Green Bay; Lois Fredrick, Williams Bay, WI; brother, Robert (Jan) Fredrick, Brookfield; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Gerds.

The Memorial Service will be on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca. The visitation will be on Wednesday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
