Directors needed for community plays

Waupaca Community Theatre is accepting proposals for its 2016 production season.

Opportunities are available to direct both a summer mainstage musical and a summer children’s theater program.

Directors select their own specific show titles and include them with their proposals.

Previous musicals presented by the Waupaca Community Theatre include “Into The Woods,” “Wizard Of Oz,” “Sweeney Todd,” “Beauty & The Beast,” “Little Women,” “The Music Man” and “Grease.”

Recent Waupaca Children’s Theatre productions include “Shrek,” “Alice In Wonderland,” “Seussical,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Schoolhouse Rock” and “Mulan.”

Anyone interested in directing either the mainstage musical or the children’s program pshould contact John Kelley at 715-256-1008 for more information.

The deadline for submission of proposals is Thursday, Oct. 1.

The Waupaca Community Theatre is part of the Waupaca Fine Arts Festival. More information can be found at www.fineartsfestival.org.
