Traffic
• Aug. 29 – Two teenagers were hurt in a one-vehicle accident at about 6:30 p.m. in the town of Waupaca.

Tyler Ferg, 18, of Appleton, was driving northbound on Sunnyview Road near Pope Road when he said the vehicle’s brakes failed while negotiating a curve.

The vehicle left the roadway, rolled three times and came to rest in a field in the N4000 block of Sunnyview Road.

Ferg suffered nonincapacitating injuries and his passenger, Jayme Brahmsteadt, 17, of Waupaca, had possible injuries. Both were transported to the hospital.
