Phyllis I. Snyder of Waupaca, age 76, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Riverside Medical Center.
She was born in Fremont on May 27, 1939 to the late Arthur and Gertrude (Zietlow) Miller. On April 8, 1961 she married Sanford “Sonny” Snyder. Phyllis was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a member of the Casey Lake 4-H Club. Phyllis drove school bus for the Waupaca School District for over 25 years. She enjoyed mowing grass, gardening, playing cards, bowling, woodworking and crafts and most especially her grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Sonny; sons: Doug (Liza) of Carmel, IN; Jim (Cari) of Germantown; Keith (Marla) of Waupaca; Mike (Michelle) of Dale; grandchildren: Daniel, Ben, Kailey, Ally, Mya, Ella and Dakota; brothers, Robert (Betty) Miller of Alma, WI; Dick Miller of Green Bay; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Marge Koepp.
The Memorial Service will be on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca, with Rev. Jennifer DeNetz officiating. The visitation will be at church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial at a later date will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King. Memorials are appreciated to Trinity Lutheran Church. The Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
