New London soccer team wins in Seymour
New London’s Joey Messina scored six goals to propel the Bulldogs soccer team to an 8-4 victory at Seymour on Thursday, Oct. 8.
New London led 3-1 in at the end of the first half and slammed five more goals in the second half. The match was heated, with four yellow cards given to Seymour and two to New London.

NEW LONDON – The Bulldogs started out in the lead but lost it to the Menasha Blue Jays in the second half at home on Oct. 6.
Sophomore Jason Sanderfoot scored New London’s goal in the first half. Menasha tied the game on a penalty kick and scored two goals in the second half to secure the win.
New London freshman Caleb Lauer had 14 saves, and Menasha’s goalie had nine.
