Waupaca gets No. 5 seed
Comets soccer team to play Clintonville Thursday

WIAA state tournament play will begin Thursday, Oct. 22, for five area boys’ soccer teams.
Waupaca, Amherst/Iola-Scandinavia/Rosholt, Clintonville and New London will compete in Division 3, while Hortonville is in Division 2.
No. 4 Clintonville will host No. 5 Waupaca at 4 p.m., No. 1 New London will host No. 8 Antigo at 7 p.m. and No. 7 Amherst/Iola-Scandinavia/Rosholt will head to Minocqua to face No. 2 Lakeland at 7 p.m.
No. 7 Hortonville will open tournament play at 6:30 p.m. at No. 2 Pulaski.
Winners will advance to regional finals, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24.
