State school board association selects Tribune-Gazette

scanner@mmclocalThe Clintonville Tribune-Gazette, ThedaCare and Klein Automotive were selected for the 2015 Wisconsin Association of School Boards (WASB) Business Honor Roll.

The WASB Business Honor Roll recognizes outstanding local businesses that support their schools. Member school boards nominated businesses, including newspapers or other media, which have been helpful to their schools over the past year.

Each business was nominated by the Clintonville School District.

A brief summary of the reasons each business was nominated is listed on the WASB web site.

For the Tribune-Gazette the web site states, “The Clintonville Tribune-Gazette has provided positive, fair and extensive coverage of school district level meetings, student work, classroom activities, athletics, and other extra-curricular activities for many years.”

For ThedaCare the web site states, “ThedaCare has provided the district with athletic trainer services for several years and has assisted with the ‘Truckers on the R.I.S.E.’ summer athletic workout program the last two years.”

For Klein Automotive the web site states, “Klein’s has arranged a Dodge Drive Event for several years that has been a remarkable fundraiser for our local Quarterback Club. Klein’s have also been very supportive of many other school district programs with financial contributions and in-kind contributions. Klein’s have also been involved with our school-to-work program for many years.”

Each business received a certificate and was recognized at the Oct. 26 Clintonville School Board meeting.
